Shopify print on demand lets you sell custom products, like apparel, mugs, or phone cases, without holding inventory. Each item is made only after a customer orders it, so there is no upfront stock and no unsold inventory risk.
With PODJST, you design and publish products to your Shopify store from one dashboard. Orders sync in automatically, PODJST handles production and shipping, and tracking updates go back to Shopify on their own.

- Design your product. Choose a product, upload your artwork, and save the finished design.
- Publish to Shopify. Send the saved product to Shopify with variants and pricing ready for review.
- Customer places an order. Checkout happens in your Shopify store as usual.
- Order syncs into PODJST. Eligible order details appear automatically, including the address, product option, artwork, and quantity.
- Production, QC, and packing. PODJST coordinates production, quality checks, and packing for the approved order.
- Ships and tracking updates. After shipment, tracking is sent back to the Shopify order automatically.

Do I need to manually enter tracking numbers?
No. When an order ships, PODJST sends the tracking number back to the Shopify order, and your customer receives their shipping notification through Shopify as usual.
How do I get a product from PODJST into my Shopify store?
Design and save the product in your PODJST dashboard, then publish it. It is pushed to your Shopify store with variants and listing details ready to edit or go live.
Can I test a product before selling it live?
Yes. You can order a sample before publishing a product live, so you can check print quality, placement, and packaging before customers see it.
What if I sell on Shopify and another channel at the same time?
Each connected channel—such as Shopify, Etsy, WooCommerce, or a supported marketplace—syncs orders into the same PODJST dashboard. You can manage the connected workflows from one place.
Is it free to connect Shopify to PODJST?
Yes. Connecting your Shopify store to PODJST does not cost anything. You pay for the products you order for fulfillment, plus any applicable shipping or optional service costs.
Can I sell PODJST products alongside products from other suppliers?
Yes. PODJST only manages the products and orders you publish through it. Other products in your Shopify store are unaffected.
Can I switch to PODJST from another print-on-demand app?
Yes. Connect your existing Shopify store to PODJST and start publishing new products. Products already listed through another provider stay as they are until you choose to move them.
Will switching to PODJST affect my existing Shopify orders or customers?
No. Connecting PODJST does not change your existing listings, customers, or past orders. It only affects products and orders you choose to manage through PODJST going forward.
Can I add my own branding to packaging or packing slips?
Branded packing slips and packaging options are available for eligible products and order setups. Confirm the product, quantity, destination, and branding requirements with PODJST before launch.
