Browser storage and privacy

Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains the cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies used by the PODJST website and the browser controls available to visitors.

Effective: August 7, 2026Last updated: August 7, 2026Core policies

Essential storage supports requested chat functions, forms, and protected admin access.

PODJST uses pseudonymous first-party analytics identifiers and does not use them for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Supported Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals stop analytics collection; browser settings can also clear or block storage.

What These Technologies Are

Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Local storage and session storage are browser features that can remember preferences, maintain a session, or provide a requested feature. Pixels and identifiers can also measure website use.

Essential and Functional Storage

This storage is used to operate requested features or protect restricted areas and is not used for cross-context behavioral advertising.

  • jst_chat_visitor_id, jst_chat_conversation_id, jst_chat_email, jst_chat_open, and jst_chat_last_read_support_count: maintain the chat session, unread-message state, and display preference requested by the visitor; retained until cleared or no longer needed for the conversation.
  • jst_admin_access_token and admin_access_token: authenticate authorized administrators for up to 7 days.
  • jst_admin_refresh_token and admin_refresh_token: maintain authorized administrator access for up to 30 days.

First-Party Analytics and Attribution Storage

PODJST can create pseudonymous first-party identifiers to understand page use, session duration, referral source, and selected conversion events. These measurements help improve the website and do not provide fulfillment recipient data to advertising networks.

  • jst_analytics_visitor: first-party visitor identifier; retained for up to 13 months or until browser storage is cleared.
  • jst_analytics_session: first-party session identifier; rotated after 30 minutes of inactivity or a local date change.
  • jst_marketing_attribution: first-touch landing page and campaign parameters such as UTM or ad click identifiers; retained for up to 13 months or until cleared.

Service Providers

PODJST currently uses first-party website analytics and infrastructure supporting the website. If third-party analytics, advertising, embedded media, or payment technologies are enabled later, this Policy and the consent interface will be updated before non-essential storage is activated where consent is required.

Your Choices

PODJST honors supported Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals for first-party analytics. You can also delete or block website storage in your browser settings without losing access to core public content.

Blocking essential storage can prevent chat, account, or restricted admin functions from working correctly. Contact PODJST through the Data Requests process if you want to exercise a privacy right that applies in your location.

We update this Policy when storage keys, purposes, providers, or retention periods change.
